Taking just one foot from an adjacent closet, we were able to add this seat and extra elbow room in the shower. Updated plumbing fixtures, a clear glass shower door, and a large niche are just the necessities. A timeless argyle pattern with the bright white tile and quartz maintains the classic look of the home. The bright colors creating the argyle pattern convey the spirit of the young man using the bath.
Originally a wall-enclosed linen closet was adjacent to a vanity cabinet. Exchanging the closet with a linen cabinet increased the space for a larger vanity and opened up the bathroom entry.
Retaining plumbing locations is a significant savings in any renovation. The tub area tile design mimics the shower design providing a new niche.
The pinwheel tile design for the floor retains the diagonal lines of the argyle. Sections of the mosaic tile enliven the floor. Using a diagonal pattern on the floor creates the illusion of additional space often needed in bathrooms.
