When their business moved to a new location downtown, these clients decided to downsize and live closer to work and the vibrant city life. A factory turned condominium was the landing spot. A combination of brick, open steel beams and painted in an interesting collection of colors – my clients saw it as the perfect place to live and to feature their eclectic art collection. Now all I had to do was pull all the disparate components together with their current furnishings and some new upholstery.

About Project

Elegant transitional fabrics and a monochromatic color scheme of aqua, turquoise and greens complement both the contemporary artwork and traditional furniture.

A functional kitchen bar is enlivened with artwork that pulls together lighting fixtures and countertop.

A bold red wall faces the entry and turns out to be the perfect foil for a pixelated canvas of Marilyn Monroe.

The turquoise and apple green are the common denominator that pulls the various wall colors together with their artwork. Supple, durable and cleanable micro suede grace the facing loveseats. A perfect fabric for business entertaining.

A custom designed rug adds a luxurious softness to the conversation area. The swirls in the cut design velvet fabric are mirrored in the swirling pattern of the rug.

A matching loveseat anchors the far wall, balancing the living room while letting the artwork bring the color and energy forward.
